An appropriate first foray into our developing tea offerings, this Nicaraguan cascara makes an excellent cup of tea from the fruit of the coffee cherry itself. As it is a dried fruit, it also has an excellent versatility and many novel uses! Try it in baking applications or steep it with your cold brew for a natural sweetness with a well-rounded finish.

Origin.—Cascara is a coffee cherry tea, made from the dried berries of the coffee plant. Filled with natural sugars, vitamins, oils, and antioxidants that come from the skin and pulp of the cherry, this cascara comes from Fincas Mierisch, a family-owned farm in the Matagalpa region of Nicaragua.
