Origin.—UCA San Juan Del Rio Coco is a union of eight small cooperatives that represent 370 small producers in the Madriz department of Nicaragua. The union is among the first producers of organic certified coffee in the country, and has held and trained farmers in USDA Organic best practices since 1993.
